Let’s Practice Together
Community is essential, and you’re a part of ours. You’re invited to join us for a live stream’d yoga class via Instagram today at 3PM ET!
This is the first of many new offerings we will be sharing in this time of social distancing and self isolation, so don’t worry if you can’t join today.
We’ll also be posting the video so that you can still participate later, though we look forward to sharing live space together in the future. There’s powerful energy created when we tune into a shared focus.
So, How’s Your Apocalypse Going?
If you google the word “apocalypse”, the first definition reads:
the complete final destruction of the world,
as described in the biblical book of Revelation.
Scary stuff. But if you dig a little deeper into the root of the word, you find this:
Old English, … from apokaluptein ‘uncover, reveal’
From that perspective on the word, this certainly is a great Apocalypse, an uncovering of rotting systems which lost sight of humanity in their focus on profit.
Now more than ever we realize how interconnected we truly are, and how important it is to collaborate.
It’s time to reset the game from competition to collaboration, from scarcity to abundance, and from fear to peace.
We hope you use this time to uncover your own pure nature, and the precious jewel at the center of your being; as a time to perceive through a lens of love as the systems around you are revealed for what they are; and as a time to recognize the interconnected nature of our personal journey and the collective journey.
Pandemic’s Impact on Innovative Yogis
We are currently not teaching any in-person classes or workshops, at least until the beginning of April. At that point we hope to restart private classes for people at their homes, but that will depend on how the government decides to respond.
For now we’re focusing on our online offerings and are especially active on Instagram. We’ll be sending more frequent emails with updates and offerings in the coming weeks. We truly are all in this together, so please feel free to respond to these emails and connect with us via social media!
On a personal note, thank you to everyone who has reached out to make sure we’re ok! The truth is that yes, like many others, this new climate of social isolation does impact our income greatly. But we have faith that by rising up to be of service in this time of need, we will all take care of each other.
If you want to help us continue on our mission of service, please consider becoming a Patron for $1 a month. Remember, in 2020 you don’t have to be a Rockefeller to be a Patron to something good, and this is a direct way to vote with your dollar for an upgraded society post-Corona 😉
And if you’re in the giving spirit: Bernie is collecting donations for Coronavirus aid groups that are fighting for kids, the economically disadvantaged, and workers during the pandemic, plus our good friend Dana Kiel is sewing masks for hospitals and could use funds for supplies.
We love you and thank you for being with us on this wild incarnation!
